The Ponytail Palm (Beaucarnea recurvata) is a unique and drought-tolerant houseplant known for its distinctive bulbous trunk and long, cascading, curly green leaves that resemble a ponytail. Despite its name, it is not a true palm but rather a succulent, storing water in its swollen base. Native to Mexico, this hardy plant is an excellent low-maintenance choice for both beginners and experienced plant lovers. Grows slowly, reaching 2-4 feet indoors, but can grow up to 10 feet or more if given enough space.
